I've Only Got 855 Days to Live
So I'm doing this now while I still have time.
What if you knew you only had 855 days to live?
What would you do?
Would you have any regrets?
Are there dreams you would feel were unfinished?
Are there desired places you left unvisited?
Would you consider it good or bad news to know your approximate Expiration Date," your literal "Dead Line?"
Now, pretend you have only 855 days left to live.
What needs to happen so you leave this world without a single "wish I would’ve," "someday I’m gonna," or "I should’ve done that"? To leave with no remaining regrets before you find out if angels really do meet you; or if cremation is hotter than hell; or if it really is, just worms?
Would you then create a "living plan" for those last 855 days to squeeze every last drop of laughter, fulfillment, and peace out of a life well-lived?
I did just that, and it changed my life.
Pretending I had only 855 days left gave me a razor-sharp focus and drive. I made a plan to tackle all the things I hadn’t gotten around to. I started living like I had 855 days left.
Writing was at the top of my list, so guess what? "With only 855 days to live, I'm doing this now while I still have time." Bam! (See how it works?)
Though I originally created this for us old fuc… er, old folks living in retirement freedom, the concept is universal at any age.
When some of my fellow "Arctic Blond" friends wanted to know the details, I started creating a workbook, a website, and a Facebook group. That way, we could do this together.
What is "This"?
THIS, is Arctic Blond Living Empowered. It is a living life large plan designed to help YOU live your life to the fullest measure with joy, laughter, fulfillment, and prosperity of spirit.
Because Life is not meant to be lived alone, these three missions empower us to thrive together:
- The first mission empowers us to Create Laughter. This is because laughter creates joy. Joy and laughter can bring people together. Laughter is the only thing I know (besides God and Love) capable of piercing through any pain to create, even if for a split second, the salving pleasure of joy.
- The second mission empowers your Life Fulfillment by accomplishing the big and little things you need, or just want to get done "because you only have 855 days to live." We will share, and help each other plan and accomplish all we desire, even the impossible.
- The third mission empowers us to Give Back. Giving back to our families, friends, or society WHEN expecting nothing in return, creates joy, and the prosperity of spirit that can bring people together. It can even be life saving. (When you feel you matter to no one, just go matter to someone.) Besides deeds, we include passing the wisdom of our hard earned lessons learned to the next generation as Giving Back.
